The Magic Theatre has once again graciously offered us a discount group rate for one of their new productions: Tir Na Nog (Land of Youth) by the Irish writer Edna O'Brien. Note: This is a night for play watching, not play reading! :)
From the website: <i>"A dynamically theatrical adaptation of O'Brien's acclaimed novel The Country Girls. With live music, dance and uniquely lush language, this coming-of-age play follows two girls who make their way from rural Ireland to Dublin.</i>
We have a block of 8 tickets reserved for Friday, February 29th for $23 (15% of the regular price). RSVP-ing is a two-step process:
(1) First, call the Magic at 415-441-8001, ext. 5 and say you're part of the "SF Play Reading Group" to lock in your discount
(2) Then, please RSVP on the Meetup site, just so we can keep track of headcount. We have 8 seats together guaranteed... It's possible we could expand to a few more if they let us.
